AANR-Florida

For the last couple months, a few Florida AANR clubs have been beta-testing new Calendar capability in our web site. And we’re ready to roll it out across the entire region.  Here is how it works.

Clubs (both travel and landed)  will need to set up and keep your social calendar on a Google Calendar. Your calendar will be automatically linked to the AANR-Florida master calendar.  When you make a change to your calendar, it is immediately updated on the master.  If you cut and paste a physical address into each calendar event, a Google map showing the location of your event can be easily called up by anyone looking at your event online.

Best of all there is no cost to the clubs or to the AANR-Florida Region.  Setting up and integrating your calendar is almost as easy as falling off a log.  Simply set up a free Google gmail account if you don’t have one already. Then create a Google calendar if you don’t have on already. You will have to publicly share your calendar which is not totally straight forward.  Send the AANR-Florida webmaster an e-mail and you will be assisted in doing this.  Experience shows that only a few minutes consultation is all that is required.ml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
