Friends of Nude Recreation

In addition to our nudist resorts and participating businesses, AANR appreciates the following nudist groups, which also help to promote and protect the nude recreation that we enjoy.

AANR Education Foundation
This 501( c )(3) charitable organization is equipped to accept tax deductible gifts. The Foundation helps fund scholarships and research to promote a healthy view of the human body. The Foundations goals and objectives are to educate the public about the values and benefits of nude recreation, and to ensure an understanding of nudism and its rightful status as a social and recreational practice.

American Nudist Research Library
For over 40 years the library has served as an historical and documentary resource to scholars and nudists. ANRL is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to preserving nudist history in the United States, Canada, and the world. With knowledge, we help protect our freedoms into the future.

Federation of Canadian Naturists
While AANR is affiliated with a number of clubs in Western Canada through its WCANR Region and Ontario via the AANR Midwest region, the Federation of Canadian Naturists is also extensively working throughout the country to promote nude recreation.

South Florida Free Beaches
SFFB/FNA founded the clothing optional section of Haulover Beach Park in Miami in 1991 and mentors it through its volunteer Beach Ambassador program, establishing the model for an urban nude beach.

The Naturist Society
Founded in the 1980s, the Society publishes a magazine four times per year for subscribers and conducts events (“gatherings”) around the country. Often referred to as TNS, its affiliates NEF and NAC help educate and protect.

Nude Radio
NUDE Radio is a streaming radio station produced by nudists, for nudists. They provide an entertaining music channel that also includes news and information about nudist, naturist organizations, and friendly destinations.
