At Suwannee Valley Resort (SVR), supporting our veterans, active military, police officers, firefighters, and first responders is more than a tradition. It is part of who we are. We proudly give back throughout the year through appreciation events, community outreach, and programs that honor the men and women who dedicate their lives to serving and protecting others. For the thirteenth year in a row, SVR provides home-cooked meals and ice cream socials for veterans at the Lake City Domiciliary, along with gifts and necessities, wreaths, and special gifts to help make all the holiday seasons memorable and meaningful.
Our commitment extends far beyond the holidays. SVR hosts multiple meals and appreciation events annually for veterans and first responders and actively supports veterans through nonprofit efforts across Florida. Through our dental assistance program, we help provide care for low-income veterans across 16 counties, while also partnering with military organizations to connect veterans with additional resources and support. We are also proud to have a dedicated Service Officer within our SVR community who assists veterans with benefits and guidance, reinforcing our mission to ensure those who have served are never forgotten.
